RX Cancel in v11.2
Overview
Rx Cancel will allow users to send cancel messages to and receive cancellation messages from pharmacies.
Actions that will trigger a CANRX message message to the pharmacy:
- Enter in Error
- Discontinue
- Order D/C
- Permanent Deferral
Process
Prescriber determines an RX needs to be cancelled -> Prescriber sends an RX Cancel request to the pharmacy -> (CANRX) ->
Pharmacy receives RX Cancel request -> Pharmacy responds to RX Cancel request with an Approval or Denial -> Provider receives the Approval or Denial response
If a pharmacy doesn't have a Cancel Service level set or doesn't accept cancellation faxes, a Call in Cancel RX task will be generated.
