Impantable device
Description
With v17.1 users now have the capability of documenting and tracking medical implantable devices.
A medical implant is device or tissue that are placed inside or on the surface of a patient's body. Implants can be prosthetics, but can also be items used to deliver medication or provide support to organs and tissues. They can also be used to monitor a patient's body functions. Implantable devices can include stents, hip implants, chemo therapy ports,cochlear implants, and bone screws.

Setup
Preferences: TWAdmin>Preferences>System
- ImplantableDeviceExternalAccessTimeOut - indicate how long, in seconds, the application attempts to connect to the implantable device look-up service before it times out with no results.
- ImplantableDeviceLookupServiceURL - enter the URL of the external service that the application uses to reference implantable device information.
- ImplantableDeviceUDIParseServiceURL - enter the URL of the external database used to parse implantable device information into the application.
