Galen is excited that you're coming to Nashville for #2015MUSE! Our Consultants have traveled the country, and they have put together some of their favorite things to do and see in Nashville. At Galen, we strongly believe in sharing our success and giving back to our community. One of our driving tenets is “Perpetually Learn and Share”. Furthermore, we foster a collaborative environment where this experience and knowledge is communicated to the entire team. This has been instrumental to our success and ensures that, when working with a Galen team member, our partners gain full access to the resources that define our organization. Please check out the rest of our Wiki by starting at the Main Page and visit us at Booth 122

Places to See

Lower Broadway St - Lower Broadway consists of 4 blocks filled to the brim with live country music venues, restaurants, and businesses. Most all of the buildings have some historical significance but all will surely keep you entertained. http://nashville.about.com/od/historyandsites/ss/lowerbroad.htm#step-heading

The Parthenon – Nashville is not only home to country music – it’s also home to a full scale replica of the Parthenon built in 1897, which also is home to Nashville’s Art Museum. http://www.nashville.gov/Parks-and-Recreation/Parthenon.aspx

The Nashville Farmers Market - The Nashville Farmer's market started in the early 1800s with farmers pulling up in their wagons in the central square to sell their fresh produce and handmade goods. The market is open every day, from 8am - 6pm so this would be worth a stop on the shoulder end of your trip. http://nashvillefarmersmarket.org/

Watering Holes

The BlueBird Café – It’s not just a location invented for the TV show “Nashville,” but is, in fact, a place where legends are made. There are several shows that still have seats available during #2015MUSE. Reservations are required for a table, and there are limited seats at the bar or in pews on the night of the show. Definitely worth a little advance planning. http://bluebirdcafe.com/enhancedCalendar.cfm

Getting Around

So it's there's a little distance between the Gaylord and downtown, but it is well worth the trip. Once you're there it's pretty easy to get around.

Music City Circuit - The Nashville MTA has 3 free bus routes in downtown Nashvile. http://www.nashvillemta.org/Nashville-MTA-Music-City-Circuit.asp

Nashville B Cycle - If you are a more intrepid explorer, Nashville has the B Cycle program where you can check out a bike and ride it to your destination. https://nashville.bcycle.com/what-is
