Description

eCoupon enables the users to view and provide coupons for applicable name brand medications during the prescribing process. Coupons are not available for generic medications. Coupons can be sent to the pharmacy electronically or printed and given to the patient.

Setup

  • Preference- Under General: Turn on the Enable eCoupon at Point of Prescribing by entering a Y in the field
  • Preference- Under Meds Turn on the Automatically Attach Coupon to RX (When Available) by entering a Y in the field

  1. Medication is a name brand medication and not a generic
  2. Patient age
  3. Patient gender
  4. Patient address
  5. Number of coupons available for the medication- Some medications are limited to only a certain number of coupons, once the limit has been reached no additional coupons will be generated for that medication
  6. Ordering Provider is enrolled in eCoupon
