Galen eCalcs - Calculator: Lung Cancer Screening Recommendation

Description

The Lung Cancer Screening Recommendation tool whether or not a recommendation for a Low Dose CT Cancer Screening is warranted based on the status of several chronic conditions and the patient’s current smoking status. The chronic condition calculator inputs are delivered pre-mapped to problem entries that can be modified during or after implementation. The Pack Years input from the LCS Recommendation also has the ability to automatically import the result from the Smoking Pack Years Calculator in order to increase automated input integration across calculators within a given patient and reduce the need for manual re-entry as well as the potential for error.

At the calculator level, eCalcs comes delivered with default keywords that can be leveraged in the "Search/Filter" field to enable Specialty or System driven calculator searching.
