Description

The ICD9 Diagnosis dictionary contains the ICD9 diagnosis codes. If an ICD9 Diagnosis code is tied to a problem(in the Problem dictionary), the ICD9 code is sent to the interfaced billing system based on problems selected in the patient’s medical record. These values display in the Favorites Lists and the display names can be set by clients. Sample entries in this dictionary include:

789.0 Abdominal Pain
724.2 Low Back Pain
351.0 Bell’s Palsy

This dictionary is filled with entries from the ICD9 external data source through the PMS.
