1. Create a follow up order of “Due Date” in the OID
2. Create a Worklist that has the following filters:
a. Order Status = Active b. By Order Provider = Current Provider c. Misc. Filter = Days to Expire set to how soon the provider wants to see the patient on the list (14 days before the due date or 30 days) d. Orderable Item = Due Date
The workflow would be:
- Provider creates a Due Date order with a To Be Done date of the patient’s due date.
- The patient’s name will appear on the Worklist X of # days prior to the To Be Done date.
- When the patient delivers the provider or staff completes the order.
