Q. Where is my Dictate column on my schedule?

Adding the Dictation Column to the Schedule

During some upgrades "Dictate" is not automatrically loaded as an "Installed Module" therefore the Dictation Column on the schedules are not present.

If you want to activate the Dictate column for all users, see your EHR Technical Consultant; they will run a script for you so that you don't have to turn them all on manually.

If you want to turn on the Dictate Module and allow users to activate the DEictate Column themselves follow these instructions.

EHR Administrator

• Go into the Admin WP
• Click on Systems
• Click on Preferences
• Search for "Installed Modules"

The Dictate Column will display a microphone for those patient visits where a dictation has been completed.

A little known fact is that this feature will only work if the Dictate module is listed in the Installed Modules field. Also note, it is not DictateWorks, it is just the word "Dictate".

Once this is complete, you can then click on Personalize from Daily Schedule where you can check the "Show Dictation Column" option. If Dictate is not in the Installed Modules you will not see this option.
