Compound Medications are not found as delivered in Enterprise. There are two most commonly used work around for a provider to enter a compound.

Option One

Add "Compound Medication" in the OID and the provider searches for and selects this entry, then enters the details in the free text sig. A DUR check does not occur with this option.

Option Two

The provider searches for and selects the primary medication, then the provider enters the additional medications in the free text sig. A DUR check will only occur on the primary medication.
