Question:

We have had two physicians pass away since the first of the year. We have been manually reassigning tasks and managing follow up. Is there a work flow designed to deal with this kind of situation? What happens to tasks, recalls and pending orders for a user that is no longer active in the system? Can they be redirected? We have not made any changes to their user ID other than making their licenses expire to prevent further generation of any Rxs. Has someone else had a change in the make up of their office?


Answer:

Create a task view where you designate the tasks assigned to these users to the new task view.

Your criteria should be tasks assigned to: User X Tasks that are "active" and "in progress"

You can then assign this task view to those providers who are going to resolve these tasks.
